The company commenced its furniture removals business in the year 2010 operating only in the Nelspruit area, Mpumalanga Province. The Company Founder spent over 10 years working in the furniture removals business before he resigned to take a new direction within the business sector. He then took the initiative to form a removal company in which he invested the start-up capital equity investment into this business.
This investment enabled him to purchase a fleet of enclosed trucks of various sizes as a result of experience with service demand, and also the packaging stock and the ancillary removals equipment needed for operational efficiency. The company started with the employment of 8 skilled workers which then led to the formation L&M Furniture Removals (Pty) Ltd.
The company has grown vastly and made inroads through the country and beyond.
This has been enabled by the increase in assets and the total workforce. Due to the business projections, it became necessary to relocate the company to Midrand, Gauteng, which is a central place for the supply of removal services when taking the demand base into consideration.
